It's not just our coastal resorts that's great for shopping - there's great retail therapy to be had in our historic market towns and villages where you will find thriving independent stores, antique centres and food specialists waiting to welcome you.

Without a doubt Louth is renowned for its excellent food speciality shops - so it comes as no suprise that Lincolnshire was voted as Britain's Favourite Food Spot in a public poll last year!  In this pretty town you'll find plenty of butchers, bakers, green grocers, a fishmonger and a delicious cheese shop whom, between them, have scooped a stack of awards for the great quality of their local produce.

If you like to shop Al Fresco then pop along to one of our weekly stall markets.  Markets take place in Spilsby on Monday, Alford on Tuesday, Louth on Wednesday, Horncastle and Mablethorpe on Thursday, Alford and Louth on Friday and Horncastle and Louth on Saturday.  Now, that's a lot of market shopping!

For antique hunters Horncastle is simply a dream come true.  This lovely market town is home to plenty of antique shops so you can easily immerse yourself in your version of 'Bargain Hunt'.
